The processed pseudogenes should follow." * Discussion of importance of synching consensus set to what's on the browser (both test and public one). Robert said this would be done soon. Currently, the concensus is on pseudogene.org/ENCODE . * Yontao's presentation, containing an interesting example of potentially transcribed pseudogene on slide 8. It was agreed that Yontao would compare his current pseudogenes to the 15-Oct consensus. He would find his pseudogenes that have a clear parent protein. He would split them into two groups depending on whether or not they overlapped GenCode annotation and then send these two groups to the list for possible inclusion into a revised consensus. * Discussion on how to integrate consensus ENCODE pseudogenes with transcriptional evidence (arrays and tags), binding site data, and conserved regions. 1. Yale (Deyou) will intersect the pgenes data with binding site data given that Yale is already doing the 5' end analysis. 2. France will intersect pgenes with existing Affy and Yale transfrags. 3.
