README ~~~~~~ ** This directory contains files relating to the communication: "A small pool of disabled ORFs in the sequenced Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome and its implications for the effects of the [PSI+] prion" , submitted. ** Postscript files for the manuscript text and figures are in the subdirectory paper/. ** A GFF-format file for dORF annotations is: dorfs.gff the fields in this file are: chromosome identifier, (pmh), (dorf), start, end, (.), sense of ORF [+ or -], (.), (complete_dorf), name. The 'name' is unique to each dORF; the naming will be changed to something more systematic in the future. This name is used for the corresponding sequences in the FASTA files described below. ** A FASTA-format file containing the disabled homology fragments around which the dORFs are constructed is in: dorfs.matching.seqs.fasta ** A FASTA-format file containing the nucleotide sequences of the dORFs is in: dorfs.nt.fasta
